The same lessons, three ways in. Pick the one that matches how you like to learn. They lead to the same pages.
| If you want… | Go to | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| A guided sequence | The free course | Thirteen short lessons, about 26 minutes, in English and Spanish. The videos are being published; the lesson list is final |
| An answer to “what should I read for my situation?” | By goal or role | New, leading a team, inheriting a codebase, migrating, wanting evidence: one row each, with the pages to read in order |
| To study one idea at a time | By property | The seven properties of a derivable project, each with where to read it, practise it and check it |
| Ideas and stories | Essays and ideas | Longer reading on why the method exists |
If you only have an hour
Read the two-page introduction, then follow your first hour on a project of your own. Everything else on the site is there to deepen that hour.
How the lessons connect
The method is a loop. You write down what the system must be (a spec). A small map tells the assistant what to load for each task (the sentinel). The assistant derives the code. Something outside the model checks the result (a gate), and every miss leaves a permanent rule behind (the ratchet). The seven properties tell you how well a project does all of this, one letter each.
Every route above walks that loop. They differ only in where they start.
